Cookie policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies badrlabs.com uses, who sets them, and how to change your choice. Our privacy policy covers everything else we do with personal information.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser so it, or a company it works with, can recognise your browser later. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) and tracking pixels work in a similar way, so this policy calls all of them “cookies”.
Some last only until you close the tab or browser (session cookies); others stay for a set time (persistent cookies). We set some ourselves (first-party); others are set by Google, Meta and LinkedIn through their tags (third-party).
The kinds we use
Essential
These remember your cookie choice and keep spam bots out of our forms. The site can’t work properly without them, so they don’t need your permission and can’t be turned off here.
Form attribution
If an ad or link brought you here, we remember where you came from in your browser tab, so a form you send tells us which campaign led to it. It’s never sent anywhere on its own and is gone when you close the tab.
Analytics
Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages and buttons are used, so we can improve the site. In Quebec, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, for browsers in Canada set to French, and for browsers that send Global Privacy Control, it only runs if you choose “Analytics only” or “Accept all”. Elsewhere it runs until you choose “Reject all”.
Advertising
Tags from Meta and LinkedIn tell us whether our ads lead to visits and inquiries. They only load if you choose “Accept all”, wherever you are. Until then, Google’s advertising features stay off too.

Changing your choice
Choose “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to change your choice at any time. Turning analytics off deletes Google Analytics’ cookies straight away. Your choice is stored in this browser only, so you’ll be asked again on another browser or device, or after clearing your browser data.
We treat Global Privacy Control, a browser setting that asks sites not to sell or share your data, as a request to keep analytics and advertising off until you choose otherwise.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari. Google offers a browser add-on that turns Google Analytics off on every website.
Advertising choices beyond this site
Meta and LinkedIn let you control the ads they show you in your account settings. Industry programs also offer opt-out tools for interest-based ads:
- Canada: Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada (YourAdChoices)
- United States: Digital Advertising Alliance (WebChoices)
- European Union and United Kingdom: Your Online Choices (EDAA)
We don’t run these tools and can’t vouch for how they work.
Changes and questions
When we add or change a cookie, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change needs your permission, we’ll ask again before it loads. Questions go to [email protected].
